SO it was swim day

Today was the first time i went into the pool. I have to say it is nothing like owning a boat and not being able to swim.........So I am setting little goals to do it again today i mostly walked and just went under for about 5 feet. I can truley feel the muscles so tight. And now a few hours later it has kicked my butt!

We have a new addition!

So we have a now one to our family, She is 2 months old. We adopted her from the SPCA, She is adorable. Maria and her are slowly getting to know each other but Freddie is alittle bit on the scared side.

Limeade

The kids got to make another recipe limeade it was really good! We all squeezes some limes then made a concentrate with sugar by boiling the water. After letting it cool we added some water and Ice and with the perfect cup, we enjoyed a great home made drink with our lunch.

Project weekend!

Over this past weekend we did a 2 diferent project on to make a rubber egg! All you need is a jar and vingar. Since the vingar is an acid it eats away at the shell leaving the egg in a clear sac!
The over was to vegetable dye stationary. The kids had a great time making the projects and i will post the pictures soon.

Our Little Green Experiment

Over the weekend the kids, with alittle guidance made a compost out back. We decided to do it behind the shed we had a ew peices of wood made a rectangle and collected leaves, twigs, and branches, with alitle left over food skins. We had a good time i let Tiffany use a leaf blower for the first time and the boys were excited to use and play with a pitch fork turning over the soil. Then me and will put the tarp over top to help and also to keep Maria from tryin gto dig up the let over food!
